Returned to Civita. It is a small place, but I got so wrapped up taking pictures that I never even made it the whole length of the city!

Il Vin Caffe is an incredibly warm, welcoming, easy place. Great light food, artisan beer, and fabulous wine. It is our go-to place for good, easy food at night. Thanks Stefano and Christiano.
I was taken with the Baroque part of San Brizio chapel on or last visit, and, again, by the Pieta.

Orvieto’s medieval celebration of Corpus Domini this year is being spread over two weeks. One of the most important parts is the march of the women held Sunday. It was, as always, spectacular. The costumes, color, and pageantry are wonderful. Here is a glimpse
Orvieto has a beautiful cemetery that is a great place to take pictures. So we took Catherine’s photography group there. Here are a few pics.
We are so privileged to do what we do. We have had yet another exceptional week and group. Last night as we did or show and share of their photography work I was humbled by the beauty of their work, by the spiritual nature of their work created be the incredible environment of Orvieto and Catherine Anderson’s passionate leading of the workshop, and by the generous comments directed towards Kristi and me.
The students created several wonderful three dimensional projects with their pictures. And then there was the digital iterations that were so completely new and beautiful to me.

We had a sparkling clear day at Palazzone. It paired well with the sparklingly clear wines from this great wine producer.
Isabella put together some incredible pairings for us. This pea puree had eucalyptus in it, ricotta and their Grek grechetto wine. We also had guinea fowl and quail.
